Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Students please check your email. If you have an email from Claire Miller to complete a survey, please click on the pink link to complete the survey. The access code is your lunch pin. Thank you.

Seniors check your email to vote for the mural theme for the class of 2025. Voting ends at 3:30pm TODAY.

Star Splitter by Matthew J. Kirby is this week's First Chapter Friday pick. Go to the SSHS Library Canvas page to hear Ms. Thompson read the first chapter and stop by the library to check it out!

Clubs/Opportunities

Speaking of dressing up for Halloween! Let’s do a huge group costume. Our very own Mr. Borders is dressing up as Gru from Minions, so every teacher and student should dress up as minions so we can make a tiktok at the very end of the day (like the ones playing in the background). Go all out on your costume if you would like. Don’t have a minions costume? No problem, it’s as simple as wearing blue jeans and a yellow/gold shirt, so everyone can participate! Show your east side pride, and come dressed as a minion Thursday, October 31. Which is next week!

Sports

What’s the fastest growing sport in the country? Girls Wrestling! That’s right, Girls Wrestling! You might have seen it in the Summer Olympic Games. Now it is available to any high school girl who wants to compete. Join our girls wrestling Co-op with Springfield and Lanphier to participate in this exciting sport. There will be a Try-It-Out session on Tuesday, October 29 at Lanphier. Contact Coach Gardner in room 127 for details.
