Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS. From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. | New Student Voice Team- We will have a meeting this Friday, February 23rd during 6th hour. Ms. Miller will have a pass delivered to your 5th hour on that Friday. You must go to your 6th hour, and show that pass to your teacher to attend. Thanks If you want to read in the library today, don't forget to stop by the library to get a pass before your lunch shift. Join our book club conversation, check out books, or just sit and read, but you have to have a pass to be able to enter - see you today! Spartans! Southeast High School will hold a Sadies Hawkins Dance on Friday March 1, 7-9 pm. Tickets are $10 a person. If your date is not a Southeast Student please pick up a permission slip in the main office. Tickets will be on sale during lunch. Taste of Black History - Wed, Feb 28th (2:30 - 5pm). In the Commons. Free Food, Games and Trivia! We have Black History Spirit week Feb 26-March 1. The best dressed will receive a prize each day! Monday-Black and Bold (wear all black) Tuesday- Do it for the culture (Represent a country) Wednesday- Wear a black history shirt or red/black/green shirt Thursday- camo day Friday- Throwback. ㅡ Clubs/Opportunities | New Poetry Club will be meeting Thursday from 3:30-4:00pm in room 107. See Mrs. Collins or your officers with any questions! Book club, please stop by 105 for your RSVP to the next meeting on Monday, February 26th to discuss Bluebird. Ms. Jones needs to know if you will be in attendance and your sandwich order. Key Club is going to have a meeting on Monday, February 26 in room 110 from 3:25-3:45. We will also have an after-meeting volunteer activity until 4:45. ㅡ Sports | New Boys soccer players turn those uniforms in by Friday. Make sure the secretary collects your name when you turn these items in. SOFTBALL Try-Outs will be on Monday, February 26th at 3:30pm. Meet Coach Porter in the gym, and reach out if you have any questions. Anyone interested in joining the Southeast Cheer Squad there will be an informational MANDATORY meeting on Monday, February 26th at 6pm in the Southeast Commons. Official tryouts will be in April! There will be a meeting on Tuesday, February 27th at 3:45 at the tennis courts across from Southeast High School for all boys interested in playing tennis this spring. You don't need to have any previous tennis experience, you don't need to know all the rules. You don't even need to own a tennis racket! Come to the meeting to learn about playing tennis for Lanphier/Southeast. If you can't make it to the meeting, contact the coach and let him know you're interested.
