Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just wanting to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information.

Attention Juniors! Are you interested in preparing for the SAT? SAT Prep sessions will kick off on February 6th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in room 214. If you're interested in SAT Prep, sign up outside the college room, on Canvas, or scan the QR code on the fliers around the school. There will be a mandatory meeting in room 214  after school on February 5th from 3:30-4 pm for those who are interested.

Calling all book enthusiasts!

Do you love books but can't commit to a regular book club?

Do you have A or B lunch?

Join the Book Lovers Club.

We will meet once a month for the rest of the school year beginning Thursday, February 22, during lunch.

See Ms. Thompson in the library to sign up for your lunch shift and get all the details. For our first meeting, we will discuss what we are currently reading and share recommendations. All genres welcome - All Spartans welcome

Book club, Ms. Jones wants to apologize for not having a meeting on Monday. Let’s try again this Monday 2/5 after school in 105.

Key Club will have a meeting on Monday, February 1, in room 110 from 3:25-3:45 with an optional volunteer activity from 3:45-4:45.  See you there!

Poetry club will be meeting TODAY from 3:30-4:00 pm in Mrs. Collins room 107. We will be voting for officers. See you then!

Southeast will be giving out 50 free student tickets to all girls games and 100 free student tickets to all boys basketball games this week during lunch! 

Our final 5th Quarter Celebration will take place on Saturday, February 3rd, from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Southeast students can come enjoy the free food, music, and fun! To attend, you must be at the varsity basketball game before halftime. Cash prizes, Croc hoodies, and Crocs t-shirts will be provided by DJ Mr. Text A Kut. Win by showing your footwork on the dance floor or by having the best custom crocs. 

Boys Basketball Senior Recognition will take place before the 4:00 PM Varsity game on Saturday, February 3rd.

HOME: Boys Basketball vs. Glenwood - JV @ 5:30 PM, Varsity @ 7 PM

Saturday, February 3

AWAY: Boys Dive & Swim CS8 Meet at Eisenhower Pool - 9:00 AM

HOME: Girls Basketball at Normal Community High School - JV @ 10AM, Varsity @ 11:30AM

HOME: Boys Basketball vs. Belleville West - JV @ 2:30 PM, Varsity @ 4 PM

Remember we have senior recognition before the boys varsity game, and the last 5th quarter event after the game!
