However, doing nothing fuels depression and creates an endless cycle of feeling depressed and doing nothing. Behavioral Activation is a Cognitive Behavioral technique which helps depression by choosing to actively do SOMETHING, any amount of healthy activity, even when you don't feel like it. This breaks the cycle and therefore improves your mood. |
