Check the lost and found in the student office if you are missing something.

Shout out to the students who follow lunchroom etiquette, by lining up in a single file line, that respect students and do not cut in line, push in their chairs, and who clean off their tables after eating. Thank you for making the custodians, lunchroom workers, and supervisors jobs easier.

REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS TAKING PSAT TEST ON OCTOBER 26TH - YOUR TESTING PAYMENT IS DUE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE BY WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25TH - CASH OR CHECKS PAYABLE TO “SSHS” -  PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE TESTING. 

The 2024 yearbook is on sale from Treering Publishing!  Look for flyers around the building or look on the Southeast webpage for the link!  Price is $55 and you can order NOW in the main office or online.   Price will increase so do not delay!

Picture retakes will be on Wednesday. October 25 in the auditorium!  The times are as follows: 

7:30-10 - staff, 9th-11th graders

10-12:30 - seniors only

If you are unhappy with your pictures, bring the picture packet back and get a new picture taken on that date. Just come to the auditorium at the designated time. If you were not in attendance on picture day in September, a pass will be sent for you.

Quarter 1 is officially over, and Quarter 2 is ALL about attendance. To be able to succeed in life, the first step is showing up! You are shooting for 95% attendance to join in the end of the quarter surprise!

This will also help you with potentially being eligible for a couple of final exam exemptions. Remember you need to pass all of your classes, no out of school suspensions, and have 5 of FEWER absences between both Quarter 1 AND Quarter 2. (School activities do not count as an absence.)

Students, please come to the auditorium at 3:30 on Tuesday to watch a quick performance about gun violence. We have six actors who need to practice in front of an audience, and we would love to have you! Anyone is welcome. The play will last 10-15 minutes. 

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday! Class of 2024, this message is for you…We are having a College and Trade School Application and Essay Workshop! on….you guessed it….Tuesday:)

The event is in the library all day. Students you can sign up for college application and essay assistance on the table outside of the college room. Write your name under the class period that you are available to attend. You will get a pass and must have teacher permission to attend.

Teachers, please feel free to send Seniors down with a purple pass on Tuesday to the Library between 8:15am and 5:00pm.

Ms. Jones wants to shout out Mr. Clinton for becoming a published author: find his story on Amazon— “Sinister: an anthology”. AND the new generation of teachers in the building. They have brought a fresh energy and are clearly committed to giving our students every opportunity. There are so many after school activities now: it is just really great to be a part of. 

Due to Panorama and mySAEBRS testing, we will be running this schedule today.
