Hey seniors!! Have you gotten your meningitis vaccine? If you have just forgotten to bring the paperwork, come to the nurse's office TODAY and let her know. She can look it up for you. She should be hearing from 90 of you!

And freshmen!! If you haven't turned in your physical to the nurse, BRING IT NOW. 

Exclusion day is in 2 weeks. She needs all senior meningitis records and freshmen physicals before then. If you haven't had those done, make your appointments asap!

Attention students, did you know that during lunch we have colleges and military come here to talk to students?!  This is a great opportunity to get to know more about life after SSHS.  Want to know who will be here during lunch, click on the College and Career Canvas calendar or stop by the table outside of the College Room.

Juniors and Seniors - October 4th is the Education Fair at the Orr building. Permission slips are available on the table outside the College room - they are green:) This is a great opportunity for you juniors and seniors to get to meet representatives from colleges, trade schools, and businesses and to learn how to apply and what they are looking for in future students and employees. 

Attention students interested in attending homecoming, this is a reminder that if you have been suspended for any reason prior to the homecoming dance, you are not allowed to attend. Please do not purchase a ticket if you have been suspended from school, as you may not get your money back, and you will not be allowed to enter the dance. 

Spartans— the homecoming dance is THIS Saturday, September 23 from 7-9 here at Southeast High School.  Tickets are $10.  Tickets are on sale now during lunch in the commons! Any questions, please see Mrs. Barcik in Room 103. 

If you are bringing a date that does NOT attend Southeast,  you MUST fill out a date request form.  These can be found in the main office and are due back by THIS Wednesday, September 20.  

It’s Homecoming week! I’m excited to see all the outfits for spirit week!

Wednesday (Sept 20): USA Day

Thursday (Sept 21): Blue/Gold Day/Toga Day for Seniors

Remember there will be prizes for students dressed up!!!   So be creative but make sure you are school appropriate!

There is a drama club meeting in the auditorium after school on Tuesday, September 26th

Key Club will meet in Mrs. Wilkinson’s room, 110, today.  Our meeting will be from 3:25-3:45 with an optional after-meeting volunteer opportunity from 3:45-4:45.  See you there!

Hey Key club If you are going to the Fall Leadership Rally in Belleville, you must have a signed permission slip returned to Ms. Wilkinson by Thursday.  They are available in room 110.

If you are interested in a fun reading challenge that involves BINGO and a chance to win lunch for you and a friend, see Ms. Thompson in the library for a BINGO card and more details.

Hey, do you want to learn how to sword fight, as well as participate in an olympic sport. Then come join the Fencing club. Tryouts will be held in the Commons on Thursday Sept. 21st. If you have any questions or need more information, please see Mr. Finney in rm 175G in the Library. He’d love to discuss it with you

Attention students progress report grades just went in, if you are not thrilled with your grades don't stress we offer after school tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday here at SSHS.  

Science is with Mr. Potter in room 141 and Mr. Walls in room 234.  English is with Mrs. Latif in room 119.  Foreign Language Ms. Ippach in room 122.  AP is with Ms. Jannazzo in the college room and also during lunch!  Math is with Mr. Biggers on TUESDAY only in room 124.  Make sure to reach out to your teachers if you need help.

Do you like trivia? If the answer is yes, then the Southeast Scholastic Bowl team is for you! The Southeast Scholastic Bowl team will have its first meeting after school TODAY 9/19 in Mr. Calderon's room, 219.
