ㅡ General Inf09/5-913 MWF until 9/22 | New Thriving Thursday-announcement brought to you by The Peace Room: As a reminder-physical and mental health go hand in hand, so one way to take care of both is to make sure to practice "Sleep Hygiene." Working to improve sleep can lower stress levels and improve brain function. Create a nightly routine, shut off screens, and keep your room dark and quiet at night. Try to get to bed at the same time each night. If you're struggling with staying up too late, aim for going to bed just 15 minutes earlier to start with. Remember-the Peace Room is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday during the school day. Feel free to stop by and become acquainted with the location and ask any questions you may have. Juniors and Seniors-If you leave prior to 7th hour, you MUST leave through the Taylor Street Lobby. There are no exceptions. If you do not and are caught leaving out any other doors, you will receive consequences and your schedule will be adjusted. Calling all juniors and seniors. Now is the time for Homecoming Court. Get your forms today in the main office to represent your class at the football game and dance. Seniors—can get the chance to win queen and king. Forms are due back to the main office by September 13. Any questions, see Mrs. Barcik in room 103. Reoccurring Spartans— the homecoming dance is Saturday, September 23 from 7-9 here at Southeast High School. Tickets are $10. If you are bringing a date that does NOT attend Southeast, you MUST fill out a date request form. These can be found in the main office and are due back by Wednesday, September 20. ㅡ Clubs/Opportunities9/5-9/7 8/29-9/8 | New This week 9/7 art club will not meet, but the Art Club has started and meets after school (3:30-4:45) on Thursdays starting 9/14. Calling all Spartan fans: Blue Crew, Southeast High School's student spirit team, will be hosting its first meeting TODAY (9/7) from 3:30-4:00 pm in Mrs. Collins' room, 107! We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and efficient members who will help TAKE CHARGE and spread school spirit. We will have free snacks available for the first 30 members to sign up for Blue Crew at the meeting this Thursday, so come out and show your Spartan Spirit! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Collins or Mr. Biggers! Reoccurring The Superintendent’s Student Roundtable is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. A link to the application can be found on each high school’s website.
