Good Morning Southeast students and staff, it's Thursday, March 30, 2023! Remember that successful Spartans ARE RESPECTFUL, they follow classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning throughout the building.

Remember, the Peace Room is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays as a support for any student needing a break, needing someone to talk to, or needing help working through a problem they are having. And now for your thriving thursday tip of the day
Tip-"Take Deep Breaths - Breathing helps more oxygen travel to all your organs and tissues. Your body obviously does this naturally. But sometimes you need a moment to really slow down and just rejuvenate your body and mind."
We want you! The Southeast Choir is actively recruiting and would love for you to join us in beautiful, singing harmony for next year’s group. Stop by and visit our lunch table this Thursday, March 30th and say hi. Bring any questions that you have about choir, singing or how to join. We will be giving away giant Easter baskets during both lunch shifts. Drop by our table to enter this free raffle. Winners will be drawn and announced on Friday. It’s Prom Time--- Prom will be Saturday, May 6 at Erin’s Pavilion from 7-10. If you are bringing a date that does not attend Southeast, you MUST fill out a date request form. They are found in the main office and need to be filled out and returned by May 6.
Tickets will be on sale starting April 17 in the commons during lunch shifts. They will be $25.
Hey Key Club! We will have a meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 3:25-:3:45, in room 110. We won’t have an after meeting activity so plan your ride home accordingly.
Attention Juniors: The Board of Education invites interested current high school juniors to apply to become the 2023-2024 Student School Board Member. One junior will be chosen to serve during their senior year. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, and can be found on our school’s homepage. Please see Ms. O’Connor or Ms. Metz for more information.

Juniors and Seniors - Are you unsure of what you want to do Next? After high school, you have options…so many, that it can be difficult to narrow it down. DIGIM- is a fun and enlightening way to help you decide. On April 5th, Young Professionals have invited you to join them at UIS for a high energy, fresh outlook on your pathway to Career. Turn in your permission slip to Ms. Jannazzo in the college room by Friday and get a step closer to figuring out what is Next for you!

Registration Prep for seniors going to LLCC - April 3rd
SIU Edwardsville with Blackburn on April 17th. Open to Juniors and accepted Seniors.
Remember that you must be passing classes and have good behavior to attend.
Cheerleading tryouts will have mandatory tryout clinics March 29th - 31st from 4:30-7:30pm and official tryouts are April 1st from 8am-1pm in the Gym
