Remember spartans it is the LAST week of 3rd quarter this week!  So make sure your grades are up to par.  Don't forget in order to get your credit you have to pass both 3rd and 4th quarters or a quarter and the final!

Any current 10th or 11th grade student interested in becoming a teacher, please reach out to your Guidance Assistant Principal!  We have an upcoming dual credit opportunity for you and a chance to hear about it by the end of day today, March 14.

Students graduating this year, reminder that if you will be walking on Saturday, June 3rd and HAVE NOT ordered your cap and gown, please do so ASAP.  All graduates walking MUST HAVE a cap and gown.

If you need a Jostens order form please stop by the Guidance office.  Also Seniors don't forget to pay your fines!  If you have fines still unpaid you will not be able to pick up your cap and gown!

From the college room…

Seniors - remember to turn in your permission slips to the College room! College bound Seniors - LOG IN TO your PORTAL at the Colleges you have been accepted. Navigate to FINANCIAL AID or STUDENT AWARD and look closely at what money the college is offering and whether it is a LOAN (must be paid back) or a GRANT or SCHOLARSHIP (1 year of money, must keep good grades or FAFSA to receive it the next year). We all have questions…Let’s work together to get them answered.

Juniors, Juniors, Juniors! We will be traveling to Carlinville and Edwardsville for a Campus Visit of Blackburn and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIUe) on April 17th. You must be passing your classes and have good behavior to attend. The bus will leave Southeast at 8:00 am and we will return at 4:45 pm. Permission slips are located in the hallway outside of the college room. They are the pink ones. We are limited to 30 students. Juniors and Seniors who are accepted to SIUE have priority!

Wednesday, March 15 - Blackburn will be here at lunch in the Commons.

Students, if you receive free bus tickets, they are available in the main office for pickup.

Cheerleading tryout packets for the 23-24 school year are available in the main office. Cheerleading tryouts will be March 29 thru April 1st.
