Dear Families,
We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding student devices and their accessories. Starting Monday, May 1, 2023, all student devices will be required to remain at school. We kindly request that you return all original charging blocks and cords, or Chromebook chargers, to the school. Please note that the district will not accept replacement cords purchased by students unless they were obtained through the district.
In the event that any part of the charger (such as the block or cord) is missing, families will be responsible for a replacement fee of $10 for each missing component. Additionally, we will be evaluating devices and cases for any damage. Families will be billed accordingly for any damaged or missing devices and cases by the Springfield 186 business office.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in ensuring the proper care and maintenance of our school's technology resources. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you!

Happy Bus Driver/Monitor Appreciation Day! We are so thankful for those who help keep our students safe on the bus!

The third-grade students, along with their teachers, are very grateful to the members of DKG Lambda for providing them with top-notch headphones for their iPads. The purchase of the headphones was made possible through a DKG Illinois Foundation Grant. These sturdy headphones were utilized to enhance various activities throughout the year, including reading, math, administration, and assessments. We anticipate that they will continue to be a valuable classroom resource for years to come. Thank you!
