Calling all 8th Grade Families -
30 Minutes prior to Meet the Teacher Night we are inviting 8th grade families to learn a little more about History Fair at LMS. This project is is an extention to our enhanced writing unit that the students will be immersed in over the next few months.
The History Fair competition is an opportunity to provide students with a unique platform to delve into historical research, encouraging in-depth exploration and analysis of significant events. Through diverse submission formats such as papers, documentaries, display boards, websites, and performances, students not only gain a profound understanding of history but also develop crucial skills in research, critical thinking, and effective communication. The competition fosters a sense of historical curiosity and empowers students to present their findings in creative and compelling ways, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the study of history.
LMS Scholars have produced som amazing projects over the years and have gained skills and confidence that help them shine even brighter in high school!
