IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN: Summer Grocery Benefit - Deadline to apply is May 15.

Beginning this summer, Illinois will offer Summer EBT, the

new grocery program for families with eligible school-age kids. Eligible families will receive $120 per child during the summer for groceries starting in June 2024.

If you’re already receiving food benefits such as SNAP/FDPIR/TANF/ETC. your school-age children are eligible for the Summer EBT program.

If your household income meets the requirements for free and reduced-price school meals, your family can receive Summer EBT grocery benefits.

The deadline to apply is May 15.
