- Attention Alice in Wonderland Cast:

Reminder—We have rehearsal after school in the auditorium! Please check the LHS Drama Club Canvas page for details on this and future rehearsals. If you haven’t contacted Mrs. Hutchison or Mr. Fisher about a possible absence, your attendance is expected. Please arrive at the auditorium well before 3:30 so we can start on time. See you there!

-Great news! Our school pantry is now fully stocked. If you are in need of essentials, please don’t hesitate to use it, the pantry is here for you. Spread the word and take what you need! If you are confused as to where the pantry currently is, it is on the converse side of the building, close to the football field.

-Students, if you have not yet taken the Panorama student survey, you will be called down to the atrium at the beginning of second hour to complete this. Please bring your Chromebook and come straight down. 

-This week is Cultural Appreciation Week in celebration of Black History Month! Check out the flyer on our Global Canvas announcements or our LHS Facebook page. Join us in participating in the theme for each day this week:  

Tuesday, Feb. 25 - Black Figure Day - Honor an influential Black figure (past or present) by dressing as someone who has made an impact on history. Or an influence in n the present. Some examples include Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King Jr., and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Wednesday, Feb. 26 - Sunday's Best - Dress up in your finest attire, inspired by the tradition of looking sharp for Sunday service. Whether it's elegant dresses, a suit-and-tie, or polished accessories, show up and show out in your school-appropriate attire. 

Thursday, Feb. 27—Throwback Thursday—Travel back in time by wearing fashion inspired by Black cultural eras—whether it's the soulful 70s, the hip-hop 90s, or the R&B 2000s. 

Friday, Feb. 28 - Blackout Day - Show unity and pride by wearing as much black clothing as possible to celebrate Black culture and history.

-The Board Game Club will be playing DND on Thursdays in room 3-036, Mr. McVey’s Room. 

- Art club will take place TODAY after school in Mr. Wilson’s room. 

- Crochet Club will take place on Thursdays after school in Mrs. Cookson’s Room. 

-The Anime Club will meet on Mondays in room 3-036, Mr. McVey’s Room. 

-Please mark your calendars and join us for the St. Patrick’s Day Sneaker Ball in the LHS wrestling Gym on Friday, March 7th from 6pm-8pm. Stay tuned for more information! You may bring a guest, but you will have to have a guest form completed and turned into your AP by next Wednesday, March 5th. You will have to meet the following eligibility requirements to attend the sneaker ball: 8 or less tardies for the current quarter, you must have 5 or less absences for the current quarter, you CANNOT have ANY suspensions in the current quarter, and you must be passing 5 out of 7 of your classes at the time of the event. The dance will be FREE for any LHS student that qualifies and it is $10 to bring an approved guest. There will be a detailed announcement in your Global Canvas announcements later today.
