-Our Student Voice Team will meet on Tuesday, January 15th during 7th hour. Students will check into class first and will then be dismissed by intercom to Mrs. Pochynok’s space in 03-028. 

- Auditions for Alice in Wonderland will be held on Monday, January 27th, and Tuesday, January 28th, at 3:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

-The Black Student Union is excited to kick off the new year with our first meeting on January 15 at 2:30 pm in Mr. Jackson's room, 3-041. At this meeting, we will discuss our missions and open the floor for your ideas and suggestions. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, share your ideas, and make a difference. We hope to see you there.

-There will be an open gym at Springfield High School on Sunday, January 12th from 12PM - 1:30 for any girl interested in softball. Girls should enter on west side of the gym off Parker street. Dress appropriately, wear tennis shoes and bring gloves if you have one. This will also be a chance to meet the coaches and players.

-There will be a parent meeting next Wednesday, January 15th at 6:30PM at Springfield High School, for any girl interested in playing softball for the District 186 Co-op team. The meeting will be in the SHS commons. Parents can park in the washington street parking lot and walk across to the Commons doors. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hampsey. 

- Unity Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, January 25th in the lower level of the BOS Center from 11am - 1pm. Let’s Represent the Northside! Lanphier, it’s time to show up and show out! Stop by the sign-up tables during both lunch shifts next week for your chance to snag a free shirt and enjoy some food while connecting with students from all 186 high schools. Don’t let the Northside miss its moment—join the movement, make new friends, and show everyone what Lanphier pride is all about. There will also be a chance to win a ticket for Saturday’s game If you sign up and show up so sign up next week and let’s make it a day to remember!"

-​​It's that time of year again! The store to order your city tournament shirts is now open! Check out your Global Canvas announcement for the link to order your shirts! 

-Art club will resume on Tuesday, January 14th after school in Mr. Wilson’s room. 

-Step Club meetings will take place on Mondays from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the Hall of Fame Area of the atrium. Mrs. Miller will be creating a Canvas and Rooms page and would like all interested students to join both. Members will get a page with a code for parents to join as well. If you need more information, please come see Mrs. Miller from the Student Support Services department in Room 02-042. 

-The 1st Drama Club meeting of 2025 will be held on Monday, January 13th after school in Mrs. Hutchison's room (3-001).  This meeting is MANDATORY! If you have any interest in the theatre (on stage or behind the scenes), please join us.  There are updates to share!  And check your Global Announcements to join our Canvas page!
