-This school year, there is a new district-wide cell phone policy that must be followed by all students and enforced by all staff members. When students enter the building, all electronic devices must be powered off and put away so they are not visible (for example: In a Chromebook bag, small purse, in your locker, etc.). The policy applies even in the hallways/bathrooms/between classes, etc. The ONLY place where your electronic devices can be on and used is during lunch in the Atrium/Cafeteria/Courtyard area. It must be powered back off and put up before the bell rings to dismiss you from lunch. This policy is now in full effect here at LHS.
-Now for a moment of silence.
-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance. "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take a moment to discuss your response with your class: It's the FINAL three days of the first quarter, what is one goal that you have during this short, three-day school week?
Have a GREAT DAY LIONS!
