At Hazel Dell Elementary School, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment where every student can thrive. Bullying of any kind undermines that goal, and we need your partnership to address and prevent it.
Bullying can take many forms, including verbal, physical, social, and cyberbullying. It is important to recognize the signs, encourage open communication with your child, and take action if necessary.
If you believe your child or another student has experienced bullying, we encourage you to submit a Bullying Report. Here’s how you can do so:
Access the Bullying Report Form:
Visit our school website at SPS 186 Bullying Incident Reporting Form.
Click on the "Report Bullying" section to complete the online form.
Call or Visit:
You can also contact JaNai Miller at (217) 525-3223 or visit the school office for assistance in submitting a report.
Stay Informed:
Reports can be made anonymously if you wish.
Once a report is submitted, we will investigate promptly and provide support for all involved.
We also encourage you to talk with your child about the importance of kindness, empathy, and standing up against bullying. Together, we can ensure our school is a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
