Please read the following athletic updates. Boys Basketball for Wednesday 11/6 has been CANCELLED. Girls Basketball against JMS Thursday 11/7 will now be a 7th grade half game and full 8th grade game against our boys teams with referees. We will honor our 8th grade girls during this game as it will be their last home game at GMS. Entry for this game will be $2 for all and we will have a donation basket for the girls team. Please consider supporting our girls one last time at home!

Upcoming Important GMS Dates:
Monday 10/28: Reading Night with Families! Come see if you can be a detective and soleve the Murder Mystery! 6-7:30pm at GMS
Wednesday 10/30: Halloween (and 1st School Dance) : No Referrals from October 14-26th to be able to attend. 6-7:30; $5 tickets for purchase Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at lunch the week of the dance. Costumes are encouraged, however no weapons or masks are to be worn at the dance. S'mores and fire pit in the back yard! Costume contests, food and items for purchase!
Just a reminder as well that students will not be able to attend home athletic games if they receive tardies or referrals on the day of a game.


Reminder: 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball Tryouts will be Monday 10/21 and Tuesday 10/22 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Students will need to go home after school and report back for tryouts. You must have gym shoes to tryout. -Mr. Goss

There will be no after school activities including learning lab and boys and girls club tomorrow, Thursday, October 17 in preparation for parent -teacher conferences that will start at 5pm on Thursday. It is also a 1:30 dismissal tomorrow - Thursday. No school on Friday for PTC as well from 8am-3pm.

As a reminder, Thursday, October 17th, will be a 60-minute early dismissal for all students to accommodate Parent-Teacher Conferences. Additionally, there will be no school on Friday, October 18th, as conferences will continue throughout the day.
We value the opportunity to connect with you during these conferences to discuss your child’s academic progress and growth. Your involvement and partnership are essential to their success, and we appreciate your commitment to their educational journey.
