Students who pre-ordered will receive yearbooks tomorrow. If your student would like to purchase a yearbook they will be sold for $25 during the lunches on a first come first serve basis as well as at Honors Night! Checks can be made to GMS - memo "yearbook" or cash will be accepted.

In preparation for honors night, which will be held on Tuesday and the eighth grade moving up ceremony, which will be held on Thursday. We just want to prepare families for entering the building. Everyone will go through the metal detector so we asked that any unnecessary items be left in your vehicles. All attendants will enter through the front of the building and go through security.

Dear GMS Families,
Today is the last day for our Clothes Closet. Please remind your students to come dressed appropriately and if they need a sweater due to their classroom being cold to bring a hoodie or long sleeves. Lastly if your student has clothes that they borrowed and hasn't returned to please return to room 125 please.
Thanks!!

Please remember that Chromebooks need to be FULLY charged and chargers turned in tomorrow (Monday). Fees will start to go out if technology is not returned. Chromebooks not returned will be inaccessible and locked by the district.

Please remember that Chromebooks and chargers will be turned in on MONDAY (5/20)!!! Chromebooks need to be fully charged please!!!

Good Evening,
Tomorrow, Tuesday May 14th, during all 3 lunch shifts the Kona Ice truck will be at GMS. Students can purchase a Kona Ice during their lunch shift, but must finish it outside before entering the building. If it is raining the event will be cancelled. Don't forget your cash.

Summer school will be held at Grant Middle School. The dates are June 10-July 12.

SUMMER ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFER (SUMMER EBT)
Summer EBT is a federally funded program that provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. The Illinois Department of Human Services administers Summer EBT with assistance from the Illinois State Board of Education. School Food Authorities can email sebt@isbe.net with questions. Households should contact IDHS for questions about benefit issuance, including lost or stolen cards.
