Dubois Elementary School

Dubois Elementary celebrated Black History Month with a Black History Trivia and Multicultural Reading Night.  Families were treated to a Black History Trivia Competition as well as student reading of a very special story.  Officer Pflug of the Springfield Police Department talked to students about bullying.  She also talked about her involvement in Operation Dollhouse.  Member of the Alpha Phi Alpha were present and assisted our event as well as funding the evening.  Thank you to the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Officer Pflug, Shalanda Gaines, Heidi Hood and Carlis Thomas for their contributions to our event!
