Good Morning Ball Charter! Today is January 25th, 2023 

All students should be on step 340 for our school-wide reading step target. 

SBCS Skate Night is Thursday January 26th from 5:30-7:30p.m. Admission is $6 Skate Rental is $3 Fun for all ages and proceeds support the PTO! 

Attention Spanish Club members, there will be a short mandatory meeting, today, in room 209 at 11:30 am. 

Are you a middle-level singer who is or has been a member of Glee Club? Email Mrs. Williams if would like to participate in Solo/Ensemble Contest or the All-City Music Festival this semester. Rehearsals will take place during Glee Club on Mondays through the end of February.

Beta Club Mandatory Meeting on Wednesday 3:30-4:30 in room 207. 

Monday, January 30th at 7pm there will be an informational meeting for Southeast Cheerleading tryouts. The meeting will be held in the auditorium. Please use Taylor Street Entrance. 

The leader for the highest percentage of logins resulting in a green light is 3rd grade with 69% but close behind are 2nd with 65%. Donā€™t rule 4th grade out, they are continuing to improve and are at 50% now! Will 3rd graders hold on to their lead or will someone else sneak ahead? Keep getting those green lights and if could be your grade level next week in the lead. 

Congratulations to the following students for mastering all of their basic facts and becoming 100% fluent on Reflex. Awesome work. So proud of each of you!

Remember that once you are 100% fluent you can still earn the Green Light Challenge prize by continuing to get your green light or completing missions on Frax. 

Mark your calendars now for our upcoming Family Game Night. This will take place on February 13th from 5:30-7:30. There will be lots of fun games, yummy food, and prizes to win! You donā€™t want to miss out! 

This week is National School Choice Week and Student Council is excited to share our fun dress up day activities: 

- Wednesday - Come to School Dressed to Impress- itā€™s open house night. 

- Thursday - Wear Neon to Glow- Skate night by PTL for glowing under the black lights. - Friday - Dress like the decade your parents were born in.
