A group of students at Lanphier High School have started a new club this year that provides an outlet for creativity and comfort.
Mrs. Lelah Cookson is the faculty sponsor and crochet master for Lanphier's Crochet Club. It all started with the display of her own crochet projects in her classroom, which sparked an interest in students.
The club meets twice a week to work on their crochet creations together in Mrs. Cookson's room & many work on their projects outside of their club time. Currently, members are working on hats, scarves and bracelets.
