Shoutout to the Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum for sponsoring this year’s Black History Bowl! This annual tradition is one that students, coaches, and the community eagerly anticipate—and this year’s competition was nothing short of amazing! Competitors from Lanphier High School ,Springfield Southeast High School and Springfield high competed today.
It was a tight race with tough competition, but in the end, Springfield High School (SHS) Booster Club took the top spot.The event was held in Lanphier High School’s brand-new auditorium, providing the perfect setting for an exciting and educational celebration of Black history.
