What an incredible day at the Lanphier High School Open House. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the halls were alive with energy as droves of alumni, students, staff, and community members toured the evolution of LHS. The pride of the north side was on full display as visitors experienced firsthand the transformation of our beloved school! (See more photos here)
The oohs and ahhs echoed throughout the guided tours, with many marveling at the
brand-new auditorium—a major WOW factor for LHS, which has never had one before! It was truly special to hear stories from alumni who came back to share memories and witness the incredible changes.
We are so thankful to O'Shea Builders and BLDD Architects, Inc. who were on-site answering questions about the construction and reconstruction process that’s brought this dream to life. And a huge shoutout to the amazing students, staff, and District 186 cabinet members who helped guide the tours today. Your passion for LHS shone brightly!
Superintendent Jennifer Gill was also in attendance, proudly mingling with the community and showing her Lion pride!
We can’t thank our community enough for making this possible by passing the 1% sales tax referendum, turning the dream of a modernized LHS into a reality.
Go Lions!
