We were so thrilled to see and hear the amazing poetry read aloud today by the talented Sandburg Elementary students. This cherished tradition has become a family favorite, as Principal Keith Kincaid and staff masterfully transforms the library into a vibrant poetry cafe, complete with music, small tables, drinks & snacks, lights, and ambiance. Each student gets their moment to shine on stage, reading one of their original poems. This enriching experience not only fosters a love for literature and creativity but also highlights the importance of performance, building confidence and public speaking skills.
What a rich tradition Mr. Kincaid has created for the Sandburg community, allowing our young poets to express themselves and share their unique voices in a supportive and inspiring environment. We are so proud of our students and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their talents and hard work!
