Exciting news from Harvard Park Elementary today! Click Here for Photos
Thanks to the incredible generosity of HDR, an engineering firm, our students received a surprise that will pave the way for active and healthy lifestyles.
HDR has donated funds to support the All Kids Bike Learn-to-Ride Kindergarten Physical Education program at Harvard Park. This comprehensive program includes teacher training, certification, a fleet of 24 bikes, pedal conversion kits, helmets, an instructional bike for teachers, 2 rolling storage racks, and access to a resource portal with live support—all essential components for teaching our young learners how to ride bikes safely.
Mayor Misty Buscher even stopped by to witness the surprise and thank our community for investing in our youngest learners!
What's even more amazing is that thanks to HDR, this program comes to Harvard Park Elementary completely free of cost! Their support ensures that our students have access to this valuable program without any financial barriers. The impact of the All Kids Bike Learn-to-Ride Kindergarten PE Program is vast, with over 1000 schools across all 50 states already benefiting from it. Every year, more than 100,000 kids learn to ride bikes, gaining confidence and essential physical skills.
Thank you to all of our community partners!!
